Central lubrication - Grease
Piston pumps and progressive distributors for centralized grease lubrication systems
T
The piston pump with progressive distributor is a safe, controllable system for supplying greases of NLGI classes 1, 2 to centralised lubrication systems.
The piston pump feeds the grease quantity to the corresponding progressive distributors, which supply each lubrication point with grease individually and in sequence.
If a lubrication point cannot accept the lubricant, e.g. a plain bearing has seized or the pipe to the lubrication point is jammed, the progressive distributor cannot continue to work and signals a fault via the monitoring system.
The system's PLC switches to fault and the fault must be rectified.
