Application example for an SSV 12 distributor
Progressive distributor of the SSV series with 6 outlets and a nominal volume of 0.20 cm³/outlet. Inlet thread G1/8 and outlet thread M10x1 thread.
A progressive distributor divides the quantity supplied into equal or unequal quantities. By closing unused outlets with special screw plugs, the quantity supplied to the next open outlet below on the same side is increased by the lubricant quantity of the closed outlets above (example see right: 3 x yellow: 0.6cm³ + 1x yellow 0.2cm³ = total 0.8cm³ at outlet 4). Only special connection fittings must be used for the outlets. Outlet 1+ 2 must never be closed, exception: Bypass drilling at the factory. In this case, either outlet 1 or 2 may be closed.
Opposite outlets can only be connected by an external joining, e.g. with a T-piece or by using manifolds with a bypass hole.
There is the possibility of 100% function monitoring by inserting (also subsequently) an electric piston detector (INI).

Monitoring System
Each SSV distributor can be equipped with a monitoring system.
With this additional equipment, the entire lubrication system can be monitored for functional reliability.
The position sensor monitors the flank change in the distributor and reacts immediately if this does not take place.
This position sensor is mounted on the side of the distributor and monitors the piston movement in the progressive distributor.
The position sensor automatically recognizes the customer's plug or cable assignment, 2-wire or 3-wire version (with cable break protection).
